Since Breyer Group was established in 1956 it has been involved with improving buildings within our community and making a lasting difference to people's lives.

The business, originally founded by Fred Breyer as an Asphalt Contractor in East London is now owned and managed by his son, Tim Breyer and is therefore based on the sound principles and traditions of a family run organisation.

The business remains committed to sustainable growth through enabling our clients to deliver their objectives by committing to a culture of continuous improvement and attracting and retaining high quality personnel throughout its diverse business and geographical operations.

Our commitment to these principals is underpinned by the 'Investors in People' Model and our own Equality and Diversity Policies, which have enabled us to develop a culturally diverse organisation that empowers and supports staff to make decisions, take responsibility and deliver excellence at every level.

We will to continue to develop and grow our business through our involvement in partnering and framework agreements as they provide the platform for our delivery against the Egan Agenda, which has been a key driver for our business re-engineering to enable more customer focussed delivery, attainment of mutual objectives, achievement of business efficiencies, optimisation of project solutions, the generation of best practises and enhanced value for our clients.

From its roots as a roofing specialist Breyer group has continued its mission to improve the fabric of the communities in which we live and work in order to have a positive social effect. As we have developed, so our working practices have evolved and improved to reflect and accommodate the ever changing needs of individuals and groups within the communities that we serve.

Our specialist roofing division, headed up by Roofing Director Warren Hand is now one of the UK's largest roofing contractors with dedicated teams for delivery of both flat and pitched roofing solutions.

Each specialist team within the roofing division is headed up by a Roofing Manager and includes dedicated resources for design, estimating, surveying, cost management, procurement and contracts management.
Breyer Group is constantly reviewing its resource capability to deliver its future growth plans and the Roofing Division has the resources to carry out projects of any size and complexity anywhere in the country. We are approved installers for all major roofing system manufacturers and are able to act as a principal or sub contractor installing bespoke quality solutions accompanied by long term guarantees.

Green Roofs

Breyer Group has completed a number of Extensive and Intensive Green Roofs in both the refurbishment and new build sectors, winning a number of awards over the past decade. Working with the leading suppliers, we can facilitate the technical design process, through weight distribution and loading calculations, soil mixes, planting specification, irrigation, drainage and maintenance requirements.
