Green Roof Research: Water

GREEN ROOF WATER RECYCLING (GROW) PROJECT School of Water Science, Cranfield University, Berkshire.

The first prototype of GROW was researched at a rig built in 2001 at the Centre for Urban Pollution at Middlesex University, London. Associates included Ameco Ltd and Erisco-Bauder Ltd. In 2002 the DTI awarded GROW a grant under its Partners in Innovation (Pii) scheme to carry out further research using a live source of grey water. The new rig is connected to the student accommodation for the source of grey water. See: www.wwuk.co.uk
