PETITION FOR POLICY ON GREEN ROOFS

We, the undersigned, believe the use of green roofs should be expanded in the UK for environmental reasons. We believe green roof systems should be playing a more significant role in our country’s strategy to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate against negative environmental impacts.

For these reasons, we further believe there is a need for the Government, through the revision of general planning policy, to encourage the implementation of green roofs in our cities.
