In late June of 2005 Livingroofs in partnership with Sarnafil UK, Presence Swiss and the University of Wadensvil took a number of leading architects and architectural journalists on a tour of green roofs in Switzerland. The purpose of the trip was to show professionals the visual potential of green roofs and how they could provide benefits for biodiversity.

The case studies here are from the information pack that accompanied the tour. This provides details of design and  research associated with each roof. For the complete 12 Roof Information pack please email us

The tour was very highly successful and Livingroofs.org is planning a number of further tours in 2007. If you are interested in coming on a tour please contact tours@livingroofs.org or see the details and application form listed on the upcoming events page.
