Build up of Roof

The roof comprises a Hydrotech waterproofing system with root barrier, Top-foam extruded polystyrene insulation systems and a Floradrain FS100 drainage layer specially designed for use on pitched green roofs. Alumasc also supplied the 200mm-deep layer of intensive soil and turf.

Comments

The building will eventually comprise seven satellite ‘pavilions’ linked to central building via pathway bridges.
